Bunmi is a Chartered Accountant with over 23 years of Banking experience in various sectors of the banking Industry. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria, Associate of the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and holds a Masters degree in Corporate governance from Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK. Having started her professional career as an Audit trainee in Arthur Young, Osindero firm of Chartered Accountants and Auditors, she has garnered requisite knowledge in Accounting and Audit before proceeding to a long term sojourn in the banking Industry, While in banking, she managed multinationals and Large Corporate Organizations such as Cadbury, Wahum, Nestle, Dunlop etc as a Relationship Manager and subsequently as a Branch Manager and Regional Manager. Thus using her expertise to meet the financial, advisory and Investment needs of these conglomerate organizations. 

Bunmi further pioneered a Relationship Banking team covering the entire Lagos mainland of Stanbic IBTC bank which was directly responsible for acquiring, retaining and managing SME and commercial businesses for the organization. As the Zone Head of Southwest and Lagos Zone, Bunmi directly oversee 90 branches of Stanbic IBTC Bank and was responsible for strategic marketing and sales acquisition drive, Product design, development and implementation, Corporate Finance, SME Financing, Credit Assessment and Analysis, Credit Risk Management, Financial Modelling, to mention a few. 

She was also directly responsible for driving Sales and Revenue Optimization. Bunmi has been instrumental in the sourcing and recruitment of human capital and the Learning and Development of staff from entry level to middle and senior management, having facilitated many training programmes in the Legacy Chartered Bank and Stanbic IBTC Bank, from Excellent Customer service to Financial analysis, to various Leadership and management trainings etc.. having been trained extensively herself at the Global Leadership Centre of the Standard Bank Group of South Africa. (Africa’s biggest Bank). 

Bunmi is currently bringing her wealth of Financial experience and expertise into BDS Consult having left the Banking Industry as an AGM and the countrywide Corporate Head, of Commercial Banking in Stanbic IBTC Bank.
